American Express in partnership with the USGA (The United States Golf Association). The USGA are the national governing body of golf for the U.S. and Mexico.
Project.
The USGA teamed up with American Express and JESS3 to create touchscreen kiosks and a data wall installation with live feeds from the golf tournament (on-site) of tweets, photos, videos, live stats, player profiles and hole information, which debuted at the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach.
Involvement.
The data wall had already been signed-off, so I was tasked with concept designs from a set of wireframes for the touchscreen media kiosks that fans at the tournament could interact with. The touchscreen’s navigation is missing in my visuals shown here, as the interface was later adapted… The final interface is shown at the bottom of the page.
